Having a positive learning culture in school is important for students' learning. Studies show that some students, especially those from senior secondary schools, lack social-emotional skills and become less willing to participate in learning. These demotivated attitude and disconnected thought can adversely affect student's academic performance, peer relationship, emotional development and health. Facing these problems, creating a positive learning environment might be an effective strategy to decrease stress and anxiety and to increase self-efficacy, self-esteem and optimism for students. This workshop series will give you an overview of positive education and how it can be applied to help students flourish.
