About the Event :

“Positive psychology is the scientific study of what makes life most worth living” (Peterson, 2008). Small shifts in perspectives can help to facilitate bigger changes in our mindsets, if not in our lives. This workshop aims to enable participants to understand and apply the elements of positive psychology through various activities in order to inject positive energy into students and others lives.

Facilitator(s) :

Ms Lam Shuk Wing Pinky

Ms Lam Shuk Wing Pinky has earned a Master Degree of Arts in Social Work and a Bachelor Degree of Psychology. She is a Senior Training Consultant with more than 13 years of teaching experience. Also, she is a Senior NLP Practitioner and a Certified Hypnotherapist.

Ms Lam's teaching features are to enhance participants' learning effectiveness and arouse their learning interest via the integration of psychological concepts and related elements into vivid expression skills.

Her training target audience ranges from primary and secondary school teachers, students, parents, to medical staff, corporate employees and people with specific learning disabilities.


Intended Learning Outcomes :

On completion of the workshop, participants would be able to:

1. describe the basic theories and concepts of Positive Psychology; and

2. cultivate positive emotions and mindset in students.
