About the Event :

As a teacher, you may have contemplated these questions, “How can I set the tone for positivity in my class? How can I facilitate students to plan their flourish life? How can I encourage students to explore the meaning of life?” This collaborative workshop may well provide you with some insights to the questions. The facilitator will introduce the concept of Positive Education and explore ideas to facilitate the life planning process for students, by using interactive activities.

Facilitator(s) :

Mr Kwok Kai Chun, Registered Social worker 

 Mr Kwok is the Project Officer of Positive Education Training and Research Unit, Department of Applied Social Sciences of the City University of Hong Kong. He has been delivering Positive Education trainings and supports to non-governmental organisations and local schools since 2013.


Intended Learning Outcomes :

On completion of the workshop, participants will be able to:

• identify the concept of life planning;

• suggest ways to help students explore the meaning of life; and

• discuss feasible ways to apply the concept of Positive Education to the life planning process.
