About the Event :

With COVID-19 pandemic raging, negative atmosphere pervades everywhere, all individuals living in our society are stressful. How can teachers and students be mentally healthier in their workplace and learning journey? Boosting the positive energy is definitely a medicine without side effects.

Positive Psychology and Adversity Quotient (AQ) are complemented to each other and are compulsory components for strengthening ones' resilience to face the challenges in our daily lives.

This workshop aims to allow participants to understand the meaning of Positive Psychology, the influence of positive language and help themselves and students to develop positive mindset.


Facilitator(s) :

Ms. Scarlett Tsoi

Graduated with Master of Social Science in Counselling (University of South Australia), Ms. Scarlett Tsoi is one of the Principal Trainers of Hong Kong Society of Professional Training (HKSPT) with more than 10 years of teaching experiences on over 10 specialized topics. She is a Counsellor, Trainer, Personal Brand Consultant, Corporate Consultant, Life Coach and Expert of parent-child relationship.

Intended Learning Outcomes :

Upon completion of this workshop, the participants will be able to:

  • identify the elements of Adversity Quotient
  • use positive language in their communication with students
  • reflect on the pathway of leading a "Happier Life"
