About the Event :

This workshop aims to introduce the concept of positive psychology and explores ideas of enhancing students' positive emotion. Focuses will be on establishing students' positive emotion and positive accomplishment; nurturing gratitude in daily life and application of character strengths to enhance the level of happiness. Participants will experience how to apply the concept of positive education into practice through workshop activities.

Facilitator(s) :

Mr Kwok Kai Chun Remus (Registered Social worker)

Mr Kwok is the Project Officer of Positive Education Laboratory, Department of Applied Social Sciences of the City University of Hong Kong. He has been delivering Positive Education trainings and providing supports to non-governmental organisations and local schools since 2013.

Intended Learning Outcomes :

On completion of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  •  discuss the basic concept of positive psychology; and 
  • suggest ways to help students enhance their positive emotion through nurturing of gratitude and application of character strengths.
