About the Programme

In the midst of the academic year, the Centre for Learning and Teaching has prepared six workshop titles in the areas of “Enabling e-Learning” and “Professional Development” for all teaching staff.

Five workshops in this season focus on supporting teachers in utilising EdTech tools to facilitate student learning. A new workshop “Enlighten Learning and Teaching with Animation Making Tool” enables teachers to design and customise their own educational animation for teaching. The workshop “Creating Interactive Learning Activities with Poll Everywhere” is designed to support teachers to develop engaging and interactive learning activities in the class. The workshop “Creating Instructional Video to Facilitate Blended Learning” enables teachers to create instructional videos to facilitate blended learning. In the workshop “Engaging Students' Learning through Augmented Reality (AR)”, teachers will learn to use AR tools to create their own gaming activities for the lesson without needing to write any code. The workshop “Assessing Students' Learning with Technology Tools for Formative Assessment” is designed for creating formative assessment and how it can be applied to enhance learning and teaching. 

For teachers who would like to know the strategies and tips of managing a classroom, the workshop “A Survival Kit for Classroom Management” will help teachers to explore different perspectives and their impacts on classroom management.
