About the Event :

What are the strategies of managing a classroom? How can we build a positive classroom? This workshop provides a platform for participants to study real cases of classroom management which are commonly faced by teachers in their daily teaching. In the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to explore different perspectives and their impacts on classroom management, such as teaching, training, counselling and discipline. Tips for effective classroom management will also be shared.

Intended Learning Outcomes :

On completion of the workshop, participants would be able to:

  • discuss principles of classroom management; 
  • discuss factors that stimulate and influence motivation of students; and 
  • reflect on strategies to deal with students' misbehaviours in the classroom.
