About the Event :

Under the new normal, digitally enhanced blended learning is the future of education. To equip you with essential skills and knowledge for a well-prepared blended lesson in the coming academic year, this “Supercharge Your Skills for Online Teaching Tools Series” will introduce new features of Moodle, Microsoft Teams, Panopto and other EdTech tools. The Moodle Resources Website and Online Teaching Pack for Teachers 2.0 developed by CLT will also be introduced.

Webinar 1 – Moodle Hacks: New Features You Need to Know for Blended Lessons	11 August 2021 (Wed) 3:00pm-4:30pm	In this webinar, new features of Moodle, “Respondus 4.0” and “H5P”, will be introduced for creating interactive videos and quizzes. A new feature of creating an in-video quiz in Panopto will also be introduced.
Webinar 2 – Upgrade Your Knowledge of Blended Learning Tools in 90 Minutes	17 August 2021 (Tue) 3:00pm-4:30pm	In this webinar, new features of Moodle will be introduced, including the integration of Microsoft Teams to Moodle, sending Moodle notifications via email and Microsoft Teams  and Single Sign-On implementation in Moodle. A new plugin, “Level up!”, will also be introduced to incorporate gamification into Moodle.

Intended Learning Outcomes :

Upon completion of Webinar 1, participants would be able to:

1. implement Moodle quiz with "Respondus 4.0" and "H5P"; and

2. create an in-video quiz in Panopto to engage students.

Upon completion of Webinar 2, participants would be able to:

1. identify initial set-up of Microsoft Teams Meeting by using Moodle for blended learning; and

2. apply “Level up!” to engage students with gamification concepts.
