About the Event :

This webinar introduces useful tips on the design of learning tasks and provision of tools & resources to facilitate student engagement in the “new normal” learning environment.

Dr Cindy Ngai

Dr Ngai is an Assistant Professor cum Programme Leader of MA in Bilingual Corporate Communication in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). She has substantial teaching and corporate training experience in various government and quasi-government entities including Civil Service Training and Development Institute, Hong Kong Monetary Association Management etc. She led various eLearning projects collaborated within and between departments in PolyU. She has splendid teaching achievement in different areas including the design and delivery of interactive and learner-centred activities in both face-to-face and online sessions.

Objectives :

In view of the challenges induced by the recent rapid transition from face-to-face to online teaching, this webinar aims to share useful tips on promoting student engagement in delivering content knowledge online.
