About the Event :

In view of the recent rapid transition from face-to-face to online teaching, teachers have been facing the challenges induced by adopting a “new role” in classroom teaching. In this webinar, the speaker will introduce a revised model on the pedagogical design for delivering content knowledge online and illustrate how the model can be applied in a real world context.

Dr Cindy S.B. Ngai

Dr Ngai is an Assistant Professor cum Programme Leader of MA in Bilingual Corporate Communication in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). She has substantial teaching and corporate training experience in various government and quasi-government entities including Civil Service Training and Development Institute, Hong Kong Monetary Association Management, etc. She led various e-Learning projects collaborated within and between departments in PolyU. She has splendid teaching achievement in different areas including the design and delivery of interactive and learner-centred activities in both face-to-face and online sessions.

Objectives :

This webinar aims to provide teachers with broader-based pedagogical guidance for delivering content knowledge online with the hope of extending and enriching the educational possibilities.
