About the Event :

“Quiz” is one of the Moodle activities widely adopted for assessment, helping teachers evaluate students' learning outcomes via an online platform. During the class suspension period in VTC, there has been increasingly more usage and enquiries on “Quiz”. In view of this, procedures of setting up “Quiz” in Moodle will be demonstrated in the webinar. Moreover, the Moodle quiz specifications, a variety of question types, as well as using random quiz questions will also be addressed. Teachers could learn how to design the “Quiz” to cater to different assessment scenarios in order to meet the needs of both teachers and students.

Objectives :

The objectives of the webinar are to:

1. recognise various specifications of Moodle quizzes and a variety of question types; and
2. illustrate random quiz questions, attempt quizzes as a student, as well as download students' quiz results.
