About the Event :

In the era of digitalisation, online learning is not new to the 21st century students. Yet, the power of online learning cannot be fully unleased if they are not equipped with the requisite skills and learning attitude. Being modern teachers, how do we help our students to be self-directed learners to appreciate the beauty of online learning and hence bear fruit? 

In this webinar, the flow and strategies to conduct Self-directed Learning will be examined. The participants will be guided to explore the ways and tools to prepare students for taking ownership of their learning with reference to the teaching material “Good Practices of Self-directed Learning” teaching materials published by CLT in May 2020.

• explain the Self-directed Learning Cycle and the flow of designing the Self-directed Learning plan; and
• recognise the ways and tools to prepare students for Self-directed Learning.
