About the Event :

Play has an enormous effect on people's learning and development. According to Dr Karyn Purvis, a child development expert, scientists have discovered that it takes about 400 repetitions to create a new synapse in the brain. However, if it is done through play, it would only take 10 to 20 repetitions. Seeing the benefits of play, learning and development professionals in corporation and education sectors around the world have begun exploring different methodologies to engage learners and students and increase learning effectiveness. This workshop will explore how the renowned methodology - LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, can be used in the area of learning on the topic of innovation and creativity.

Founded in psychology, neuroscience and learning theories, the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method adopts a series of hands-on, minds-on activities. During the workshop, participants will be able to draw insights not only from themselves but also from others, reflect on their current situations, and apply in the context of work environments. As a side benefit, participants will find themselves a creative brick builder and amazing storyteller!
