About the Event :

Jewellery is an attractive business and the industry is embracing the potential growth offered by e-commerce. It also continues to expand its market share to include people from different generations and backgrounds. Jewellery retailers have investigated in finding new markets and business strategies proactively. Jewellery brands have devoted efforts in developing brand image, and provding new shopping experience for the young customers through internet technologies.

In this seminar, Mr Wong will share with us the research and development work conducted to keep the product and image of a jewellery brand energetic, young and at the leading position in the industry.

Mr Quentin Wong, joined Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group Limited (“the Group”) in 2012, was appointed as a general manager of the E-commerce Centre since 2014, responsible for the Group's e-commerce operation and online-to-offline (O2O) strategies in Mainland China, Hong Kong and overseas markets. Mr Wong also serves as a general manager of Sustainability and Innovation Centre of the Group in 2018, driving the strategic investments of the Group. Mr Wong has diverse experience in growing e-commerce and facilitating innovative technology for the retail industry. Prior to joining the Group, Mr Wong worked at a Big Four accounting firm and is a seasoned accounting and finance professional. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Secretary in Hong Kong.

  • Discuss the research work of exploring Generation Y market and e-commerce.
