About the Event :

This workshop will introduce three free EdTech tools with hands on activities that can be replicated by teachers in class. Each tool will introduce an area of digital competency: content creation, data analysis, and user experience.

Facilitator(s) :

Mr Mo Qureshi, Head of Learning Experience (APAC), BSD Education

Mo Qureshi is an experienced educator. He works with a wide range of K-12 curricula with clients ranging from UNESCO, UNICEF, governments and schools. Mo also works with regional educators on BSD's platform to implement project-based curriculums and enhance their teaching practices with 21st Century Skills.

Intended Learning Outcomes :

On the completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
1. identify and explain digital competencies to students: content creation, data analysis, and user experience;
2. practise using a free EdTech tool to deliver a lesson for each digital competency; and
3. 
assess student participation in digital competency activities.

Target Audience :

All VTC teaching and instructing staff are welcome.
