About the Event :

Emerged from the need to observe and document children's learning using mobile technology, a mobile application tool Learning Stories was created and implemented to better support student's learning both in classrooms and in the work field. Dr. Gorica will share the development of the mobile application tool through the collaboration between the faculty members and the Centre for Teaching and Learning at Sheridan. The participants will have the opportunity to use their mobiles (e.g. smart phones or iPad) to learn how to use the Learning Stories in the workshop. The implications of developing a mobile application tool for teaching and learning in other programmes will also be shared and discussed.
