Workplace learning has been increasingly prevalent in VPET and is considered an effective strategy to help students to enhance their employability skills and practice capabilities. For VPET institutions, particular kinds of curriculum, pedagogical and assessment practices are required for preparing and engaging students in work settings. These arrangements may prompt new roles for teachers to foster a closer relationship between students and workplace supervisors. In this regard, how does industry practitioners perceive and implement workplace learning? How could the collaboration between institutions and industries be closer to make workplace learning effective and beneficial to students?
