About the Event :
The seminar will comprise a brief history of games and an exploration of the societal importance of games, before an introduction of game design principles, the design cycle and the interpretation of gamification. It will close with a few examples of the speaker's own experience in game design and game-based program and curriculum design, and open the floor to Q&A and discussions with participants.

Vince is Managing Partner at Press Start Hong Kong, where he is responsible for business and partnership development, PR and marketing, and one of the instruction trainers on the Press Start Hong Kong team. With a professional background in the financial services and consulting sectors, as well as experience in educational curriculum development and teaching across different age groups, he is well equipped to work and communicate effectively with diverse cross-disciplinary teams and stakeholders. His extensive experience in Design Thinking, applying it as a methodology in client engagements, delivering co-creation workshops to clients and internal users, and facilitating hackathons within various communities, allows him to apply user-centric design methods to all kinds of projects.
