About the Programme
The Centre for Learning and Teaching is pleased to announce a new season of regular workshop offerings from January to February, 2018. In this season, six workshop titles in the topic areas of “Enabling e-Learning”, “Enhancing Teaching Skills” and “Professional Development” have been prepared.
If you are planning to adopt technology to enhance leaning in your classroom, join the workshop “Making Learning Fun with Quizlet” to learn how to make use of Quizlet to facilitate student learning through various games and quizzes. You may also learn to utilise different tools to prepare video resources for students in the workshop “Creating Instructional Video to Facilitate Blended Learning” .
Cooperative learning has long been popular at different levels of education. The workshop “Improving Student Learning with Cooperative Learning Models” will introduce two cooperative models for you to design and practise cooperative learning in teaching.
For teachers who would like to enhance professional knowledge and skills, the workshop “Enhancing Skills in Syllabus Writing” will equip you with the skills to develop a well-organised and coherent syllabus. Engaging and positive learning atmosphere are some of the keys to success in the classroom. The workshop “A Survival Kit for Classroom Management” will enhance your skills in effective classroom management, and the workshop “Interactive Learning and Teaching Strategies to Engage Students” will enable you to use interactive learning and teaching strategies to engage students.
Join and share your teaching experiences with CLT's and VTC's colleagues.
