About the Seminar

Both mobile learning and e-learning have been widely accepted and integrated into classroom as a complement to the traditional face-to-face learning. With the advances of Information and Communication Technologies, learning environment is enriched by the use of Open Educational Resources (OERs) which has brought learning to a whole new level. Additionally, the need of converting contents into an electronic publication format (e-Pub) for online learning is in great demand to facilitate learning and teaching. The Centre for Learning and Teaching (CLT) has invited Dr. Yuen, a former Director of Educational Technology and Publishing Unit at The Open University of Hong Kong (OUHK), to share his expertise on how to create effective e-Learning materials and to tackle issues on copyright infringements in using online materials.

About the speaker
