About the Event :

This workshop is particularly suitable for teachers who teach vocational modules of sub-degree or below level. This is an introductory workshop which provides participants with basic knowledge of the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework (HKQF). Through a mixture of discussion and activities, we will study the key components of the HKQF, and explore its implications in developing teaching and learning activities and assessment for vocational and professional education and training (VPET).

Intended Learning Outcomes :

On completion of the workshop, participants would be able to:

  •  identify key components of the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework that are related to curriculum development; and 
  • determine appropriate learning, teaching and assessment strategies to meet assigned level of competency (QF level 1-4).
