About the Event :

The technological innovation of the 21st century enables better production and distribution of quality learning and teaching materials by teachers and instructors. The use of e-Learning resources has reshaped strategies and concepts of teaching and enabled blended and flexible learning for self-paced learning.

Blended and flexible learning is beneficial to students and teachers. Students could learn the assigned e-learning content outside classroom and be prepared to discuss complex concepts and engage in interactive activities during contact hours.

This workshop aims to equip participants with essential knowledge of developing and incorporating e-Learning resources into their daily teaching with appropriate blended and flexible learning approach.

Facilitator(s) :

Dr William Leung

Intended Learning Outcomes :

On completion of the workshop, participants would be able to:

  •  identify the characteristics and essential elements for planning blended and flexible learning;
  • design learning and teaching plans with e-Learning resources; and
  • apply appropriate pedagogy and tips to use e-Learning resources in teaching.
