About the Event :

What are the strategies of managing a classroom? How can we build a positive classroom? This workshop is a platform for participants to study real disciplinary cases which are commonly faced by teachers when conducting lessons in classroom. During the workshop, participants will have opportunities to discuss ideas on handling cases from practitioners of different perspectives – discipline, teaching, counselling and training. Tips for effective classroom management will also be shared.

Intended Learning Outcomes :

On completion of the workshop, participants would be able to:

  • discuss basic principles of classroom management; 
  • discuss the factors that stimulate and influence motivation of students; and 
  • reflect on some strategies to deal with students' misbehaviours in a classroom
