About the Event :
Questions play a crucial role in classroom. Teaching and questioning have been viewed as integrally related activities. As such, to be an effective teacher, one must be an effective questioner.
Research findings indicated that most of the questions asked by teachers in the classroom are strictly memory, calling for only a superficial understanding of the material or simply calling for the rapid recall of information. Learning different kinds of questions and the different functions they serve are the crucial steps in being able to use all types of questions to create the most effective learning environment. This workshop aims to increase your mastery of questioning skills by classifying classroom questions according to Bloom's Taxonomy of Educational Objectives.
