About the Event :

Concepts mapping is a technique that has been used in classroom at different levels, as well as in business and training. It depicts relationships between concepts to organise and structure knowledge and ideas. It is effective, quick to learn and practical, and can be adapted for one's learning and teaching needs. This workshop aims to help teachers realise the usefulness of concept mapping and its applications in daily teaching.

Intended Learning Outcomes :

On completion of the workshop, participants would be able to:

  • illustrate the key characteristics of concept maps; and
  • construct a concept map to facilitate discussion on a topic.
