About the Event :

What are the characteristics of teenage learners of the iGeneration? Have you experienced any difficulties when dealing with them? How can we build a positive classroom? This workshop provides a platform for participants to study real cases of classroom management, focusing on building rapport which are commonly faced by teachers in their daily teaching. This 3-hour interactive, fun, yet informative, workshop helps you understand how to communicate with the iGeneration better. During the workshop, participants will reflect on their interpersonal communication skills with their students and they will be able to suggest ways to strengthen the relationships with students. Participants will actively engage in interactive activities and discussions.

Intended Learning Outcomes :

Upon completion of the workshop, the participants would be able to:

  • reflect on the characteristics and behaviour of teenage learners of the iGeneration;
  • identify ways to build harmonious teacher-student relationship; and
  • discuss the principles of classroom management.
