About the Event :

With the emergence of technology, classroom setting is changing from face to face teaching to online or blended learning. By integrating a lecture capture system, Panopto*, with the learning management platform, Moodle, teachers are no longer bound by the traditional classroom, they can now engage students with videos which recorded in various teaching contexts, such as lecture theatre, laboratory, practical workshop, etc. In this workshop, different active learning activities with the aid of lecture capture system would be introduced. Participants will be provided with hands-on practice of the Panopto plugin in creating and editing educational videos via Moodle platform.

*Panopto is a video content management system for uploading, managing and sharing all the institution's video and audio files. It is a centralised, secure place for recorded lectures, educational videos, campus events, and more. Details of Panopto can be found in official website at http://www.panopto.com.

2. create educational video with lecture capture system in Moodle platform.
