About the Event :

Teaching is considered by some people as generally fifty percent knowledge and fifty percent interpersonal or communication skills. Sharpening your communication skills can enhance the efficiency of daily teaching and increase the engagement of students in the classroom. In this workshop, you will learn a set of practical tools and techniques incorporating Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) which would improve your ability to interact, communicate and build relationships with students.

Facilitator(s) :

Mr Tommy Doo has more than 20 years of practical experience in administration and marketing, and he is also very experienced in training. Tommy has an Executive MBA and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Being one of the pioneers of the NLP industry in Asia, he provides NLP training for both individual and corporate.

He is also passionate about leadership development – helping leaders to excel in complex and dynamic environments while maintaining their own authenticity and value convictions. Since 2004, Tommy has offered hundreds of management training programmes, team-building programmes, and coaching services in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Macau.

Intended Learning Outcomes :

Upon completion of the workshop, you would be able to:

• discuss how people process information and construct unique internal representations of their experiences;

• identify the 4 key elements of building rapport; and

• explain how your students process information and how they need information to be delivered to ensure that they truly get it.
