About the Event :

To motivate and inspire students in the digital age, the use of e-learning platforms is inevitable in the routine learning and teaching activities!

The workshop initiated to equip the teaching staff with the skills to create & design their own educational website with an online freeware WIX.

With the simple user interface and manipulation tools, the participants will be able to learn to customise the website features to present the module content and meet student's learning preferences in an user friendly & interactive fashion.

Intended Learning Outcomes :

On completion of the workshop, participants would be able to:

• familarise the structure & hierarchy in building up websites for the learning and teaching needs; 
  
• insert and manipulate the teaching materials (module contents & videos) in the website; 
  
• apply templates, themes and styles; 
  
• build up the social connections with the Social Icons; and 
  
• familarise the website publishing issues.
