About the Event :

Getting students focused and motivated in the classroom is challenging. Poll Everywhere is an easy-to-use EdTech tool that can be used to have students actively participate in the learning process. It allows you to use polls, quizzes and word clouds to interact with your students. In this workshop, you will learn how to develop engaging and interactive learning activities using different features of the tool. Other easy-to-use EdTech tools will also be introduced in the workshop. Through a mixture of discussion and hands-on exercises, you are also encouraged to exchange ideas with other colleagues on how to create a fun and interactive lesson to facilitate student learning.

Intended Learning Outcomes :

On completion of the workshop, participants would be able to:

• create interactive learning activities with Poll Everywhere; and 
  
• brainstorm ideas on using the EdTech tool in the classroom.
