About the Event :

Cooperative learning offers opportunity to develop not only academic but also social skills. Cooperative models are instructional sequences and a series of process that structure student interactions in order to accomplish a specific learning goal. Two cooperative models: the graffiti model and the jigsaw model would be introduced in this workshop.

Intended Learning Outcomes :

On completion of the workshop, participants would be able to:

  • explain the value of cooperative learning; and 
  • design and practise using the graffiti and jigsaw models in teaching.
