About the Event :

In recent years, there has been a noticeable increase in the presence of Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) students on campuses. These students come from diverse backgrounds, including local-born individuals and those who have been resettled in the city. They belong to different ethnicities, such as South Asians, Filipinos, Indonesians and others. Due to the diverse cultural and family backgrounds of NCS students and their parents, they often encounter a range of hurdles within the community.

This webinar will provide a comprehensive overview of the culture, religions, career trends and challenges among NCS students in Hong Kong. Through this webinar, participants will have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of NCS students and explore supportive measures on how to bridge communication gaps and promote meaningful engagement.
