About the Event :

Instructional video is a highly effective medium to enhance and support instruction in remote, hybrid, online and blended learning. Through demonstrations and hands-on practices, this workshop aims to introduce the knowledge and skills in creating instructional video from scratch. The participants will be guided step by step through the process of making the instructional video, from developing storyboard, writing script, animating presentation slides, recording to editing. The workshop will also introduce the difference of two free online editing software, Canva and Clipchamp, which enables the participants to identify and select the proper tools for the learning contents.

Intended Learning Outcomes :

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

• articulate the basic concepts of digital video production, including pre-production, production and post-production; and
• create instructional video to visually stimulate and engage the students in blended learning.
