About the Event

The Turnitin plagiarism detection and AI writing detection service was enabled on Moodle for Academic Year 2023-2024 and Moodle for Non-Academic Year in January 2024.

Callan Rose, Senior Training Consultant from Turnitin Asia Pacific will introduce the key concepts of similarity, plagiarism and academic misconduct. He will also explain in detail how to access and interpret Turnitin similarity reports and AI writing reports generated for student submissions.

Callan will then provide a step-by-step demonstration of navigating Turnitin Feedback Studio, the grading and feedback tool aims to streamline workflows, assess student work and enhance the feedback process for students.

Objectives

The webinar will provide participants with a foundational understanding of Turnitin's basic functions and key concepts of similarity, plagiarism, and academic misconduct. Participants will learn how to access the Turnitin Feedback Studio in Moodle LMS and properly interpret Turnitin similarity reports and AI writing reports generated for student submissions.
